Mercury has been retrograde the whole month of July, going back through Leo and into Cancer. During this retrograde we were shown how we give our power away to others and allow beings and situations outside of ourselves to take down our self-esteem and strip us of our self-love. The journey back to Cancer was an important one. The reason we have allowed our power to be given away all comes from a wound, a wound that can be felt in Cancer.
Cancer wounds include abandonment, rejection, unworthiness, etc. It also reflects our deepest wounds with our earth families, our childhood, and our sense of security. We experienced this Mercury Retrograde as a flashback. Situations were presented to us to mirror back all that had not been healed within us that we had allowed to dim our light.
Mercury is moving direct on August 2nd, and as we slowly making our way back out of Cancer, Mercury will return to Leo. Now that we have realized how we have played ourselves small, we are ready to shine. We are ready to get our power back, to love ourselves as fractals of Source, and to shine our light fearlessly to help guide others.
8~8 Portal
We enter the Lion’s Gate Portal on August 8th. This is one of the most potent energetic days of the year and we will be witnessing instant manifestation of our choices. The number 8 in numerology is a power number that rules abundance, manifestation, and transformation.
If we have chosen to grow, to step outside our comfort zones, the universe will be rewarding us through this portal. This is will be day of powerful energies that will be squeezing anything out of us that cannot move forward. If we have chosen to stay complacent, to continue old paradigm behaviors and patterns, we will see the karma of this. All that we have falsely held onto will be stripped from us and we will have to move forward one way or the other.
Jupiter Direct
Jupiter has been in Sagittarius for over a year. Jupiter is at home in Sagittarius as its planetary ruler. During Jupiter retrograde our expansion was turned inward. We were faced with all the ways we have resisted expansion and avoided new experiences. Sagittarius is the world traveler, the pioneer who seeks any and every experience for the maximum amount of growth. They are truth seekers and rebels who want to understand everything on a higher level.
As Jupiter turns direct on August 11th, our expansion now turns external. This coincides directly with Mercury going direct in Leo. Both of these planets were retrograde, taking us back through our self-imposed limitations, our barriers, and our habits that kept us from expanding.
We are now entering a period of massive personal expansion that is going to wildly push us outside our comfort zone whether we are ready or not. We are inviting into our lives a new shift, a new level of existence that we have never experienced before.
Uranus Retrograde
Uranus, the planet of sudden change, evolution, and shaking it up, has been in Taurus since last year. Since he moved into Taurus, we have seen massive planetary changes as Mother Earth, Mother God, is releasing density for the planet to continue on in this ascension. We are really seeing how our values are also changing as the 3D constructs around external value and validation are completely dissolving.
As Uranus now prepares to go retrograde, we are going to be moving back through the early degrees of Taurus. There is always something that needs to be looked at again. Whenever Uranus enters a new sign, as it did last year, there is always sudden change that occurs. Often times, there is so much shaken up that it takes us a moment to process. Now we have to go back through some of those lessons and experiences that we had glossed over.
It is very important to note that Uranus will be going retrograde on August 11th and will not go direct until January of 2020, at the exact time of the much talked about Saturn/Pluto Conjunction in Capricorn. January 2020 will be the absolute culmination point of the ascension and the rest of this year is training us and leveling us up in order to prepare for our next phase of this mission.
As Uranus goes retrograde, the shakeups will be internal as we re-evaluate how we treat ourselves, how we value ourselves, and how that mirrors they way we treat others. How does the mistreatment of ourselves reflect how we treat Mother Earth? Do we love ourselves 100% so we can in turn love Mother 100%? All values are up for review and there will be forced change. We MUST evolve.
Aquarius Full Moon
We have a Full Moon in Aquarius on August 15th, which will be helping us release emotional attachments and griefs. Aquarius is able to embody divine non attachment, and understands that the focus on the ALL, the WHOLE, is the highest service. Aquarius is not afraid to be different, to follow their truth and to go against the norm.
Aquarius sees the grander picture, they see how it is not about the individual but about the whole. It is a humanitarian sign and we will all be feeling this energy. This is the time to let go of the self-importance, of our own wants and needs, and instead look at what is highest for all.
We are releasing all the fears of being rejected, of standing in our truth, and instead choosing to be the weird one, the one who is willing to break the mold. Be the change you wish to see and that is how the seeds are planted.
Sun Enters Virgo Season
On August 23rd we transition out of Leo Season and into Virgo Season. Virgo is the ultimate purifier and seeks to transform everything that is dysfunctional into impeccability. We will be moving from bold fearless expression into more refined expression. We have learned to be who we truly are and stepped into our roles as lighthouses, and now we must perfect the way in which we express.
Any arrogance, control, or superiority that may have come up during Leo Season will be transformed. Humble service, in full confidence of ourselves will be the goal. Look at your interactions with others and your external environment and see where you can purify. This can be purifying our living spaces, our bodies, our thought patterns, and our communications with others.
Mars Conjunct Venus August
Mars and Venus will both be in Virgo on August 24th and will be conjunct one another. Mars is the cosmic masculine and Venus is the cosmic feminine. In Virgo, these two will be unifying as ONE. Virgo being the ultimate purifier, the masculine and feminine will be cleansing and releasing all that still keeps them in toxic dynamics and keeps them in separation.
Virgo represents the purity, the wholeness, and the divine masculine and feminine will finally be able to come together in pure, whole love. As our Divine Cosmic parents, Mother God and Father God continue their unification, this trickles down to the rest of the planet. The masculine (Mars) must surrender to the feminine (Venus) in order for unification to occur.
New Moon in Virgo
The month ends with a New Moon in Virgo on August 30th. This New Moon feels like the beginning of our journey as true whole beings. We have been through an intense transformation this year, as we have been gathering back all the pieces of ourselves we had forgotten.
Virgo is precise and this is pushing us to take ourselves to the next level where we are doing and being with impeccability. We are moving into full embodiment of our higher selves and this requires us to be fully on our A game at all moments, which what the Virgo energy will seek to help us with.
What we must be careful of with Virgo is to transform any self-doubt, self-hatred, and victim mentality. Own your mistakes, let them go and correct them without allowing them to bring you down into guilty or shame.
Summary
We have spent the first half of this year completely transforming ourselves. We have healed, we have broken down and we have broken through. We have stumbled, but have learned and we have grown. We have also begun to integrate all the parts of ourselves we had forgotten. The month of August is pushing us into massive expansion as Mother God continues to push the energies through the collective. We must continue expanding with the energies or we will spiral down.
Every planetary alignment right now is making us massively uncomfortable, which is good. We are beginning to live as our true selves without all of the masks. We are becoming the lighthouses and are removing everything that we have allowed to dim our light. All of our choices are having instant consequences in order to show us where we are choosing to live from the mind rather than the heart. At the end of this month we will be in a completely different space than we were in July. A higher octave and a more expansive level of ourselves.
August is the passageway for those that are consciously choosing to evolve. For the the lovers and giver willing to begin living as their multidimensional selves rather than their EGO selves. Those that continue to choose the old will either be vibrated off this planet or will be forced into surrendering to what cannot be stopped. Get comfortable with being uncomfortable, and onwards and upwards we go.
